Interfaith Action Network
What can you do to advance fair housing in your community? While the need or greater enforcement of fair housing laws is shared across the nation, each state, city, and community have specific housing issues, needs, and policies that need to be addressed. Housing discrimination persists and residential racial segregation continues to inflict tremendous harm on individuals, families, and entire communities. As people of faith, it is important to find out whether these concerns are being addressed and if there is something you can do today to make your community more open, accessible, and inclusive.
The Interfaith Action Network is comprised of diverse religious congregations and faith communities, ordained clergy and lay leaders who share a commitment to fair housing and willingness to take action to address fair housing issues and concerns as they arise.

Become a Fair Housing Leader
There is a great deal of work to be done to eliminate housing segregation and discrimination and make fair housing a reality in our region. Transforming representatives of diverse faith communities into leaders and educators will help us achieve this mission. Fair Housing Leaders will attend an in depth training where they will develop a fluency in fair housing issues and in how to use the FHJC’s Fair Housing Toolkit, among other resources, to educate and engage their community. Fair Housing Leaders will also be given opportunities to work with the FHJC though the Interfaith Action Network on various issues that match their skill set and interests.
